Re: Oil Filter Thread

Yes it is M20

when I fitted the filter sandwich plate I had to switch to a R5GT filter, it was the only one that would fit

Re: Oil Filter Thread

M20 x 1.50 (although I doubt anyone does them in another pitch).

I've not got my little book to hand, but can't see it being the same -- or even sameish enough in this application. What you trying to do?

Re: Oil Filter Thread

nope its not teh same

The takeoff plate (well blanking plate for the takeoff plate) is a 3/4 UNF fitment, starts to grip but then by looks of it is going to eat the filter thread

Think im going to have to find out if they do a M20 x 1.5 blanking plate

Re: Oil Filter Thread

Depending on the usual "wot'll it cost" factor, see if the filter thread is actually removable: I'm guessing it'll be a sort of hollow stud, threaded both ends. Depending on who you know, you could maybe get one turned up 3/4" UNF one end, whatever it is the other.
