It's a cool idea but i'm not too sure the headlights will be very effective due to the mesh, and not sure on road laws in greece but i don't think they'd be road legal here thats for sure.

Looking good, I was going to give this a go but found that the lights i had were to big for the orginal light holes. Looking forward to seeing more pics once finished.

I am finished, looking good! Not TOO effective (but I think it's not of the mesh but of 55watt lamps!!) When posted in clubcento.gr I 'll link the pics!

In Greece everything is legal and illegal at the same time!

I took the briefest of looks at this and worked out that 2 x 5 3/4 inch Cibie H130s might just fit. They're E approved and the mounting rings feature adjustment. The trick would be to put the mesh behind as on the Integrale.

Not both of them. Only drivers side. Right on the back side of the light-scoop is a CDA-BMC. 1242cc 8v cinq..
The left one will just cool the engine..

Re: Dual handmade frontlights - Ram-Air for cinque..

Pics don't want to load. (Sorry -- patience -- or broadband -- required)

I'd be inclined to duct air straight to the filter and use the other intake for something useful: maybe you could duct the flow to a small oil cooler mounted behind the headlamps and then out through a duct on the bonnet a la Elise? Maybe combine this with a raditor outlet? (Must get seriously hot in Greece in the summer!)

Thing here is that it's easy enough to make holes into an engine bay, but more important to provide a way for the air to get out!

Re: Dual handmade frontlights - Ram-Air for cinque..

they look ok,but would look better if the mesh covered the whole light unit

The cut outs are a bit rough but I think they work!

Re: Dual handmade frontlights - Ram-Air for cinque..

I was just going to say do you have a splash shield in there to stop the airfilter becoming soaked by sucking in water, but then I noticed your location and realised it won't be that bigger issue for you
