Lack Of Power When Start

Can anyone help me with this problem?
When I start the car in the morning and pull out of the drive there is a lack of power sometimes in first, but mainly when I put it into second, you put the foot right down and it does not respond like,it sort of jerks, like it is away to stall. (the best comparisson is not in gear, but it definitely is).

This has only happened lately, any ideas????

I have had the car for a year now, it has been a loyal servant, it is mot'd until september and would be happy if i got to then.

It is a P reg, CInq s, Black (with two key scratches on it now after last friday night from some jealous f***er) you hear me right jealous of a p reg cinq!!

The water level staying in the same place? not losing vast amounts or anything? could be water gettin in to the cylinders as u start off, we all know how bad the lil cars are with the head gaskets

Hi Spyke, yeah I have started doing that, and it seems to be working.
Also today it was great weather, sun, actually quite warm!! And it never did it today.
In the winter that problem, in the summer cinqs nearly blow up!!!

THEY ARE GREAT!!!

same thing happened with my sporting about a month ago, steadily got worse! changed spark plugs and checked ht leads. improved a little but ended up taking into garage who fixed it. apparently where one of plugs sits if any oil has got in, the spark will arc, resulting in loss of power. if you can get in to clean out thoroughly and check spark plugs or change this might help.
