(G) Proof Cinqs Can Accelerate In Fifth

Nice runs both of you... I should sort out my Sei on a 60-120 run it'll take a fair bit longer than you guys turbo guys but it'll show that you don't need a turbo to have useful acceleration in 5th gear

love it ghost thats some bloody impressive pulling power and the other vids are impressive and i dearly wish id kept my old cinq and 1242'd it like i wanted that 16v is also bloody good

hmm I'll have to try this in mine, but got a feeling yours is quicker lol , but I hit 0-60 in low 6's :P, what boost are you running and when does boost come in? cos if I do that at 60 in 5th I'm sure its no where near as quick as yours lol as my boost doesn't come in until 4.5k! and then its 6psi of crazyness lol

boost is about 0.5 bar, and comes in at less than 2k revs going to do another vid when i get a chance of how it really accelerates up to top end (ie use 4th etc)

only gripe with the 16v vid on youtube is when it gets to fifth it just doesnt seem to go as well, and also look how high its revving

hmm gay =/ oh yeah, but mine tops at 140 ner ner! :P, if I ever see you at santapod or whatever, I demand a race up the strip lol :P

A quick look says that peek power is still about where it normally is but it's revving to 7600~7700rpm so when you hit 5th it struggles beyond much beyond 6250 rpm
