hello. ive got a seicento s reg abarth. only problem i have is the heater. the temp dial only goes round 3/4 so never gets warm, it feels jammed. any advise would be pukka as winter is not nice at 5am!!

Have you have set it to recirculate the air from outside the vehicle in and set the heat to be on you i.e like this on the layout



This would explain why it isnt warming up fairly quick. Not trying to patronise but theres been a fair few who havent done this.

I would suggest taking off the centre console and having a look to see if anything is jamming it or to see if it broke. To take off the centre console unscrew the 2 screws you see on the photo above and take out the centre knob as there is a screw behind there

it feels jammed. took off the little cover under the bonnet where the bleed valve is. the cable moves fine by the looks of it. bled the heater while we were there and the other bleed valve near the headlight. now slightly hotter but the knob still not going all the way round to max.
