Drivers Side Leak

Hey everybody, new guy here, have been reading the forum since I bough my Sei a year ago, though it was about time I got involved! Have a question for anyone who would be willing to help?!? I have a leak in the drivers side footwell, when there is a lot of surface water on the roads it gets up to a centimetre deep. It does not drain out again so I know that the leak isn't at the bottom of the footwell, I also suspect that it is not the sunroof as I have pulled the carpet back and poured water down the drainage holes at the sunroof and nothing appeared in the car!!! Has anyone had this in their car??? Have just sealed it recently all round anything that looked like a crack in the footwell with rubber sealant, it hasn't rained since so don't know if that has worked! Cheers guys for any responses!

Nodrog (Sei Devil!)

(Will list my mods soon when I have some time, its more aesthetic ones than serious ones though.)

Hi fella, welcome on board.

Some Seis suffer from a bad seal around the battery, mastic is usually missing from the side nearest the wing. Drips right inside the car usually.

Thanks very much, will look at that this weekend! I assume that would mean it would be dripping in behind the pedals onto the floor.
Will check it out.

Thanks
