(G) Anyone know how to get the interior door panel off a Sei SX 1999?

I don't know what you call it, but the bit that stops the door swinging to far open has come loose. Looks like the interior nut has come away inside the door, so i need to get the door panel off to hold it inside to tighten the outside nut, which is just spinning at the moment.
I would normally take the door arm off but this is held onto the door with what looks like rivets? Anyone know how to get the door panel off so i can look inside?

Someones gotta know this!

just take the armrest off by unscrwing it, theres a hidden screw under the door handle under a rubber flap one thats off just use a spoon or screwdriver to prise the panel off from the corners 1st then it just pulls off

pretty much as above but:

the arm rest shouldn't be riveted on. If it is you'll probably have to drill the rivets out. There is a "special tool" you can use to better effect than a spoon or screwdriver under the plastic poppers which hold the panel to the door propper-- Halfords and Machine Mart stock them -- probably your local factor, too. Otherwise its very easy to damage the poppers and/or the panel itself -- in any event, be gentle! And see if you can manage to remove the membranein one peice -- a hair dryer on the sticky stuff holding it in place, maybe.
Space will be at a premium in there, once you're in............
