I have a Ducellier distributor to fit to a cinq sporting engine for an autograss car I am building but I have no wiring diagrams for this distributor. On the top is a amplifier and it has a number 1 and a 3 on were the connector should go in. I need to know which gose to the pos side of the coil and the neg side any ideas?.
Thanks

Steve

I don't know how you are going to drive the distributor. Are you going to stick it on the end of the camshaft? As far as I know all the Fiat Cinquecentos have two double-ended coils to avoid the need for a distributor.

Just about all car ignition systems have one low tension connection of the coil joined to +12V (via the ignition switch). The other low tension connection of the coil is grounded, and when it is disconnected from ground, the spark is produced.

The grounding can be electronic or a simple contact breaker. The principle is the same for both. It makes very little difference which of the low tension connections is positive and which is negative.

I suggest you wire both connections on the distributor to separate coils. Connect the other low tension connection on the coils to +12V. Spin the distributor. I think that one coil will spark and the other one won't. Use the one that sparks and bypass the other.
