Bremb Discs in post...which pads???

I am grabbing new rear shoes tommorrow, to fit soon, so figured i'd change the discs as well.....

Shoes will be OEM or some other cheap part....the discs I just bought are Brembo MAX discs, from Germany. £51 delivered

Any ideas what would be a good pad to pair with this?? I heard good things about green pads, and mintex. Will these be cool, or are there any other recommendations???

Cheers,

Kristian

Re: Bremb Discs in post...which pads???

can't see Brembo's own, maybe im a blind fool lol, got a linky?

Green stuff sound nice as they are less dust, 3x more than the standard though, is that the only difference!? If so I'l just clean my wheels more often lol.

I'll def prefer a softer pad, for less disc wear, than a hard pad, that eats discs...pads are much easier to change

Re: Bremb Discs in post...which pads???

I tried bablefish....

welchen Bremsbelag empfehlen Sie? Verkaufen Sie BREMBO Auflage? Wenn ja, wieviel zu liefern Extrakosten? Danke, Kristian

If i retranslate that to english, its pretty confusing lol, but im hoping straight to german, its not to bad.

I think it didn't know what pad was though, to they call it brake block then?

Re: Bremb Discs in post...which pads???

yes, buy was meant to be sell, but otherwise thats the general idea...hopefully they will understand If not, I'll just get some cheaper one from UK..

I did GCSE German and French about 10 years ago....I'd love to learn a language again...I feel very ignorant using a traslation service. If I was to learn one though I guess it would be Welsh, my "mother tounge?!" and that wouldn't help me at all in this situation.

Cheers for your help SkinzCinqSporting, if he asks me any odd questions, can i ask you for help?

Kristian

Or mintex can be had off ebay for reasonable prices, I believe Aaron (J333EVO) has them on his turbo so they must be good.

Re: Bremb Discs in post...which pads???

I have the Brembo Max discs and Green Stuff pads, excellent set-up. Stop on the penny, really does. Went from 100mph to 0mph in a matter of small single figures. Brake dust is not too bad really, you have the usual increase brakedust in the bedding-in period, but after that, quite minimal really. Had them on my car for about 400 miles now, best up-grade i've done.
