Sticking fuel gauge...

Anyone know any solutions for a sticking fuel gauge? At about 3/4~1/2 full my fuel gauge sticks just above empty until I corner hard to the left, it's starting to irritate me.

Re: Sticking fuel gauge...

heres a good and reliable guage for ya!

1) Fill tank and reset trip
2) Drive car like it begs for.... hard fast, and to the red line
3) Wait till cuurent guage has warning light (all driving must be in a straight line :P )
4) Fill up...work out litres/miles and see how many m/l / mpg you get
5) Rip out the useless gauge, and just know your worst case scenario

(all said tounge in cheek, i know they are crap, but you can learn how much you can get without checking the gauge itself)

Go for the elite look, and remove the fuel guage completly

Kristian

PS. hopefully makes sense, perhaps a glass of wine too many lolol
