| Battery Light Help. Just changed alternator on my cinq, the original problem I had (battery light on constant) has now been resolved.....however........... Now the battery light is on constant and I haven't even got my key in ignition!!!! I've disconnected the negative side of battery now, as I don't want to drain it totally. Anybody any ideas? Cheers

Alternator diodes can be replaced. You buy a module that contains all 9, generally, and they have to be soldered in.

| I've disconnected alternator at spade (plug in) connector. Ignition off and light stays on! Fault wasn't there before I changed alternator. With engine running, light goes out!!!!! Please help!
