Lowered Sei, 1 day problem's

Hey guys,

Just finished lowering the car yesterday on my -50mm springs on original shocks

Have been driving around for about 30 miles since lowered and came round a corner today, which was reasonably bumpy and then I herd a loud klonk/bang noise from the front right... I then continued to drive the car around the road a few times and there seems to be a rubbing noise coming from the front right when cornering to the left....

Does anyone know what the problem could be, I am assuming it is that the old shock didnt like being lowered and has gone so will have to buy some new Bilstein shocks for the front....

Would anyone like to advice on if they think this is the case and if it might be anything else... I will be checking tomorrow but want some advice before hand!

Regards

Adam

Check that the top mount still turns smoothly. I presume you checked this on assembly, but it might have fouled with the weight of the car on it.

Cheers

Looking good Adam!

Any pictures of the changes youve made to my baby?

Like the sound of the upgrades to 100 odd HP!

Hey,

Im going to check the car over shortly, Im hoping it isnt a snapped spring more than anything because it really feels like false budgeting buying 4 springs for 1 snaped but nevermind...

Donna, I will have some pictures as soon as i fix this minor snag although she is looking great and has just had a full engine rebuild so is running as sweet as a nutt and reasonably quick!

Catch you soon

Adam
