(S) what tyres can i fit to these?

right i have some punto sporting alloys and want to put them on my cinq sporting so i have a few questions:p

first - what tyres can i fit to them? is 185/55/14's ok or do i have to get 185/50/14 like i read somewhere else?(would rather not fit the latter as they are looking like they will be very expensive[V])

second - what size of spacers will i need to get they are et35 so unsure what size i will need to get

if there's room between the arch and wheel its not low enough!

185/55 will give you 10% over-gearing, so the lower the profile you can go the better. Clearance problems with these will be worse than for fitting 195/45 15's.
