anyone converted a sei citymatic 2 manual?

how do guy, i have a 99 seicento citymatic, i have put in one of those reconditioned actuators and still no go. the car still thinks its in gear. anyways i'm going converting it this weekend and the only issue i can see having with it is that the clutch leaver on the gearbox on the citymatic seems to be 90 degrees off. what i mean is that the actuator pulls from left to right and the manual pulls the leaver from front to back. i was going to weld on a 90 degrees extenstion onto the clutch leaver but i don't want to go to that extreem if i don't have to, plus i think it would mak the clutch even heavier. is there a way adjusting it or a kit available to combat this issue. i have no prob with the wiring part.

The citymatic was always a dog of a car and has well known faults

TBH the price of 899 cinqs or seis in manual, it would be a lot easier to buy one of those rather than do a conversion

i can see your point alright, its just the one i have is a 1999 with only 6000 miles on her. its still got the plastic on the door cills. i got her converted within 7 hours so if anyone needs any advice on what you need or how to do it just give us a buzz. the car is going great. the hardest part was removing the dash. if anyone is looking for an actuator i have 2 of them and one of then was a reconditioned one that i paid 470euro for. it wasn't that at all that was gone. it was the gear sensor on the back of the box. so if anyone wants these parts let me know because i'll just throw them out after a while.

How much was the conversion in all?

Asking for the benefit for other members, it is a question that has come up before.

Also any chance of a how to/ step by step guide for the dash?

Glad to see you are happy now. Enjoy the sei
