Group N Zorst on Cinq Sporting?

Anyone got a GrpN box on a Sporting...

When I bought the new one, the exhaust had to be reinstalled- they'd cut it off to get the car to their site! Thing is, it appears thatthe tailpipe got bent, as it ad been stored in the car, probably resting on that.

Thinking of swapping the GrpN one over from the 899 onto the Sporting, then get a standard 899 Backbox and sell the car on...Fitting that cant be that hard!

What do yu think?

Watch out for pipe size mismatches. 899 and 1108 standard systems are a different bore.

Grp N exhaust looks exactly like the standard sporting one, fits exactly to the existing down pipe but has an empty cat and no flexi. If the car is running absolutely spot on tuning wise it will pass an MOT in that state. The engine mounts will need to be stengthened to use it as is. It will cause problems with the engine moving and no flexi. Usually bending and/or snapping.

Cheers

I was only planning to put on the backbox only...

As for tube sizes, It came with a narrower insert that fits into the pipe, that I assume is used for the 899cc, so I assume that its a straight swap.

Also, theres something coming out of the exhaust, looks long and stringy, being known as a dead rat- im assuming this is silencing material, so not going to worry if swapping the exhaust!
