Bulkhead hole

To save a load of time looking around for it, can anyone tell me where to pass a few wires through to the inside of the car.

Also if anyone knows where I can find the central locking loom to integrate my alarm into it that would be great. Need to get a Haynes!!

Re: Bulkhead hole

stick your head in the drivers footwell, pull back the carpet and theres a rubber gromet behind the brake pedal. it is just below the battery tray in the engine bay

IIRC the wiring loom is behind the carpet in the passenger footwell. there was a thread about it somewhere, possibly in security section

EDIT yep i was right

Re: Bulkhead hole

Just got to find a place in the engine bay to put the alarm now!

That access point is so much easier than the Punto though, to get wires through to the inside.

Re: Bulkhead hole

Can't you hide it behind the firewall material stuff? Or is that not possible in a Sei?

Re: Bulkhead hole

I took the material away and it seems theres some sort of plastic component behind there hogging all the space. The material itself isn't strong enough to hold it, however maybe if I put a metal plate behind the material for the alarm bracket screws to bite into, there may be enough strength to hold it securely.

Re: Bulkhead hole

The heater matrix is behind there, but I thought there may have been a bit of room!

Re: Bulkhead hole

also arc this is for a sei, your best bet may be to make your own bracket out of aluminium
