| Orange Strip Trim on Bumpers. I have a black sporting. I'm not normally one for modding but I would like to paint black all the orangie bits of trim. The side trim has already been painted black by the previous owner. I want to remove the orange 'pipe' strips from the top of the front bumper and the strip below the rear number plate so that I can paint them properly. Unfortunately I have no idea how to remove them. Are they glued on or can I screw them out. Any ideas[?]

| I've done it on mine but the bits are screwed in from the back to get them off its a bumpers off job, but any decent sprayshop can spray them with them still fited on the bumpers, cost about £40. "The Not so Fast but Furious"

| Did you use primer or did you put the paint straight on[?]

| Sorry ;) i meant the bodyshop done it for me, it looks they have just sprayed over the top of them as the paints flaking off now after a year. If you going to do it yourself make sure you rub them down slighty with some wet and dry paper so the paint sticks to it. "The Not so Fast but Furious"

| I have sprayed the strips blue on mine, I rubbed them down first as suggested by centoevo, and used Plasti - Kote plastic primer with normal car paint on top. Still looks ok after 3 months. Pete. Cinq sporting 1242cc http://mysite.freeserve.com/close_to_cracking_up/
