Unhappy Squeaky Boot, Scratched Windows Due To Winding Up And Down, Can Anyone Help?

Hi, my seicento sporting has has a loud squeaky noise when opening and shutting boot, comes from the struts, have tried allsorts,wd40, oil and grease, nothing cures it, has any body any ideas? they seem dry as boot has to be pulled opened like the hydrolics arnt working. also over past month my front window has scratched badly all the way down, sounds like its scratching from inside the car door, is it anything to do with the electric window mechanism? the window squeaks when winding it up, the passenger side has just started scratching a bit at the side, i winded it down and it jidderd and now has come off runners and doesnt shut properly, does anyone know whats best to do, or any tips, has anyone else experienced these problems? any advice would be great, thanks

The window thing is the seal that runs along the top half of the door not fitted properly, I had this after my car had some paint work done and it ruined the glass. Thankfully the body shop sorted the whole thing out.

I think your boot struts are cream crackered. Replacement is the only sensible option: you may fing a decent pair at a scrapper -- maybe Cinq or even punto ones would fit.
