(T) Seicento Doors (Kick Panel) Speakers

_Hey all,

New to the site but not to Fiat cars, only ever driven Fiats !

Got myself a little Sei Sporting as a run around. decided that the Polish 18W front speakers aren't quite enough for my liking.

Can't put anything in the back (parcel shelf nor boot) therefore I'm thinking of sliding something down the door panels (kick panels I think they are called)
I did a search on the net and only found customised kick panels for PUNTO I for 200 quid.

Has anyone got good tips or addresses to check out for door speakers in a SEI ???

never seen off the shelf for the kick panels.TBH theres not much space there and it would encroach into the leg space particularly for the driver.
there was a guy on italion ebay doing door bin replacements with speaker pods.
also theres a forum member who can do custom door builds for the cinqsei's

i got a pair of custom made door cards, sound awesome when amped see pics

There's not really enough room for kicks in the footwell - the accelrator peddle is obscured too much. You can do door builds though - mouch more straightforward

Ive a set moulded into the lower door cards which are great and if you give me a couple of days till my sis gets back ill get her camera and take a few pics for you

No mate, they were custom made for another sei and he went to sell the car soon after so i stroked them with speakers and a 4 channel amp, now nice and loud with 6 speakers

How about some original Fiat Lineaccessori equipment?



They accept 6.5" compos and do not extent more than the original door pockets...

We don't have that option in the UK

Could you get me some? Or find the part number?

asteris you should get a mould made and get sets made.could make a fortune selling to those poor UK sei drivers

i have ideas of putting in a 6 channel sound sytem in my sei, but using the same space that is provided for the original speakers and possibly moulding a pod that mounts onto here and so being able to fit in larger front speakers without bringing in the use of door cars and such

I'll be running a 3-way active front end and those door pods would save me having to get the fibreglass out again.

Midbass as above, midrange in the factory location and tweet on the dash or A-pillar (or where ever it sounds best).
