(S) does a seicento body kit fit on a cinquecento

hey guys, just wondering bout something here, im going to sport up my cinquecento, paint job etcc and was wondering if a seicento body kit would fit on a cinquecento or would it need modifiying, because from what i have heard the cinquecento and the seicento are virtually the same, the reason i wanna know is because well ve look at some of the cinquecento body kits and well nonoe of them are appealing to me but some of the seicento ones are. please could u help me somebody cos i realli need to know cos if they do , ill be out today to buy one.

mechanically they are virtually the same but just look at them! they are totally different shapes so they would need extensive modding to fit
PM bushboy as i know he has a cinq custom front bumper he will be selling

i know they are different shapes, but this is what im trying to say, with they the to fit on, i know they will be different shape but thats nothing that bodyfiller cant sort out??

body filler?done much body work?
the bumpers are different shapes so theres a problem.
the wheel arches are a different shape
etc etc
its up to you but its massive work.if your doing that you can pick from any car and make them fit

dont get cocky, yes bodyfiller, as i work in a body shop, its not that hard to plate it and bodyfiller it to make it fit

In my opinion it would be easier to buy a sei, but i admire anyone who likes a challenge and i say good luck to ya

For this type of challenge it would be easier to buy a sei and get the kit that way, not the usual 'sei is better' style of post

The kits can be made to fit no problem, but just becuase the kit looks good on the sei doent necessarily mean it will look just as good/better on the cinq. Dont forget the sei is much more curvy and so the kits are designed to incorporate those lines. The cinq is very boxy with prodominent lines, and again the kits for the cinq are designed to accomodate this. Mixing it up could make it go very very wrong.

In my opinion (and as you say you work in bodyshop so must have some experience and skill) you should attempt a custom using parts from a different boxy car altogether You can use the top of a standard bumper and splice the rest to the bottom of it etc...

but in this case i agree.... would be so much easier / cheaper / less time consuming / possibly end with a better result to buy a sei and go from there.

well i know that u make sense bout the shapes and all but the body kits for the cinquecento to be honest arnt the best ive seen, does any body know where i can get some good body kits for cinquecento that arnt abarth storm, or that boxy one, cos ive seen some cinquecentos that have got some realy good bodykits on them but have neva seen thm for sale in all my life and i know for a fact that they are not cutom made, caqn any one help me here?????????

what bodykits have you seen? Some pictures would be helpful then we can advise more check out gallery for some inspiration

I agree -- I think it would look aweful, but you could always try it in Photoshop/Gimp to see what it looked like.

I think an Integrale body kit would look nice on a Cinq, especially if you could pop 4 headlamps on.........
