couple of questions

Alright folks! New round here and want to ask some questions.

I'm wanting to buy some rear light covers for me little cinq.
Do the ones on fastfiat.com look any good with standard light clusters? If not do you suggest buying some tint spray.
I'm also so wanting to lower it, the kit on fastfiat lowers by 40mm will this be O.K as it has 13 inch alloys. will it look any better?
cheers!:)

40mm with standard wheels will look cool and runs fine on the standard wheels or you can go lower if you like on those wheels

Ive tinted my rear lights (Cinq SX so indicators are orange) wouldnt recommend it purely because its an arse. The car wont pass the MOT with it, so it'll have to be stripped off when the time comes...Im just waiting for a point so I can get some covers, then I'll strip it off- I think it'll look better with covers and no tint honestly...

hey

Yeah, you should buy the tint spray by fola-tec, my mate has done it to his a looks the business. Have seen a few cars with the covers fitted and they don't look as good as the spray. This is what his looks like:

http://osiris.sunderland.ac.uk/~ca0dpe/web/cinq.htm
http://osiris.sunderland.ac.uk/~ca0dpe/web/cinq1.htm
http://osiris.sunderland.ac.uk/~ca0dpe/web/cinq2.htm

Lowered on a 13s will look mint as well, there will be more than enought room. Wide 13s will look even better though, so if possible go for a width og 6" or 6 1/2" with 185/50x13 tyres to give ya car that proper Euro look.

I was wondering about buying a set of rear lights from the scrapys, then spray mine, and then when M.O.T time came I'd put the untouched ones on. Is it worth it or do the police keep pulling you anyway[?]

hey

My mate has had them tinted for just over a year and he has not been pulled or asked about them once by the police. His cinq sporting also went through the MOT and passed first time with them on. Think you would be fine, he does a lot of miles as well so therefore more chance of getting pulled and has not been pulled.

As long as you keep the reflector parts untouched, you won't have a problem and it'll pass an mot

probably overlooked it, or the tint wasn't too dark to fail it:)

why not tint them red. black isn't the only colour. it comes in blue and green too

Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX, wish it'd clean itself!
