Re: injecter light

Dont think it would be the ecu, more like the coil pack or maybe the lead itself?

Re: injecter light

coil would be the 1st thing to check.
you can swap the coils over(there 2) and see if the non spark cylinder moves

Re: injecter light

when you changed the HT lead.
1 ends on the spark plug and the other the coil.
there are 2 so you can swap them over and see if the fault moves.

Re: injecter light

Before buying new coils, check the LT leads that plug into each coil, as this was the problem with mine (after buying new coils, HT leads etc!!)

Mine were all 'bubbled' at the end of each wire (before they go into the actual plug) and when I touched them slightly to one side the engine would cut out and misfire suggesting it was them, a quick nip to a scrappies and cut some off a Punto for a measly £2.00, cut old ones off, connect & solder new ones, plug into coils and bobs yer uncle!

It's worth checking these first before forking out for the expensive stuff.

Si
