Squeel from Drivers side Front Wheel

Morning,

It is becoming annoying now; Does not do it all the time.

Is it likely to be a brake / caliper issue

or

Wheel bearing ?

Car performs fine other than that, no shuddering pulling to one side etc etc.

Thank you

Del

Pop the wheel off for starter, adn check the pads.

Also try manualy rotating the wheel if its out of gear and front is all up, compare it to other side. If bearings are going, i guess it would be harder to turna and maybe grind a bit. Don't count me on that though. I have never had one go.

Re: Squeel from Drivers side Front Wheel

past experience with other mk1 clios jack the car up and spin the wheel. If it makes a grinding noise then its the bearing. problem is sometime a bearing noise will only come on with a lot of speed.
Get a garage to take a drive and see what they say.
