(G) Turbo

Anyone know where to get me a big ol' Turbo for my sei, and where will fit it etc preferably somewhere in the north west/east. Quite fancy the power gain

Not sure of what is available for your sei in terms of hi boost turbo kits, low boost turbo kits, IIRC yours is an MPI sei

If you go the engine change route, it is not a case of dropping an engine in and away you go.

An engine change to a Uno Turbo lump can cost a lot of money, a member called Wardy25 converted his sei to a turbo engine taken from an uno and had bills totalling 18k by the time it was sold, of course other mods had been done.

Theresa 1.4 turbo cinq has bills for 8k+

Also be prepared for a potential hike in insurance cost depending on your age

insurance will rocket as im only 18, a turbo now sounds a tad expensive, wot sorta bigger engines can you fit under the bonnet of a sei?

The most common conversion is to get the 1242 MPI unit from a punto. It isnt a bad conversion to do. There is an FAQ and guide in the cento section on it. Excpected gain to be from 54bhp to 75bhp

Again as above also insurance may also go up, but probably not as much as a turbo engine would.
