I have been playing around with a nice and easy to use 3d graphics program called "Sketchup". The demo is available here:

http://www.sketchup.com/

Follow the tutorials and you will get yourself acquainted with it in no time.

Why I am jabbering on about this software you may ask? I have drawn a 899 cinq with reasonably accurate proportions using this program. It is by no means complete and it has many glaring compromises, but I offer it here for free for you to do what you want with.

Once you have Sketckup, you can customise it in any colour, tint the windows, etc, etc.

My only request is that if you are going to use it somewhere, can you credit me with the initial/underlying drawing and if you are looking to use it for profit, pass a few royalty bucks my way!

I thought it would be useful to test out body kit ideas and wheels before buying - you can even import 2d pictures as skins/textures (e.g. to see what a wheel would look like in different sizes, brands, etc.)

This could also be a 'work in progress' where members could work on interiors, engines - pretty much down to nut and bolt level if you like - to test clearances for mods, engines and the like.

Have fun and post what you do!(y)
