Re: Help electric windows stopped working

For now you can always push them back up manually. Take door trim off and slide them back up.

Ah, erm well you'll struggle to check the connections in the doors then. I swear the fuse is in the fuse box though

Re: Help electric windows stopped working

Right according to haynes the left and right windows are on a large 25 Amp fuse which is not in the fuse box. This may be in the additional Fuse box in the left hand side of the engine bay as far as I can figure from Haynes.

EDIT: Maybe the relay has gone, which is to the left of the Central Locking Control Unit (Yellow Box) under the baby changing shelf when looking up at it.

I think its the one by the ECU if the fuse is in there.

Re: Help electric windows stopped working

Can you hear the relay clicking when you try the windows. Get your head under the dash at the passenger's side and either press the switch yourself or for ease get somebody else to. No click suggests no power to the relay or dead relay.

Re: Help electric windows stopped working

So theres no click from the relay then? Just get one from a scrapyard, if it's over £5 they are robbing you really.

EDIT: If that doesn't fix it then sorry, can't help you any further.

Re: Help electric windows stopped working

Right so the windows just suddenly died?

You searched the site to see if others had a similar problem?
