(G) Sump swop?

I went to fit a sump from a Cinquecento Sporting to a Punto 8V 1242cc engine and then found that it was not compatible! I wastede a complete tube of Fiat sealant into the bargain! Can anyone help with the correct sump, please, or do a swap for the sporting sump?....thanks a lot...Dave

Get a sump from a Punto 60 or 75.

I have checked the dealer price and it is £66 + V.A.T. I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to notify me of a cheaper supplier, please? OR a car breaker who might have this item? It is a sump for a Punto 60, 1242cc, 8V, engine code 176.B4.000, 1997 onwards. OR, can YOU sell me a sump to fit?. Many thanks....David

IIRC Shop4Parts do them for about £35-£40

though it may be worth giving desira fiat a bell as they were doing them on ebay till recently
