click the link in custard boys signiture or do a search absolute hundreds of threads on this :)

Dont think you can get a 900cc turbo, and even if you could, it would be crappy, unless you spent lots of money on it.

Start with a sporting, much better

so i would be better off with a bigger engine then ? what engines fit in this iv been looking on ebay cant find anything bigger.

899, 1108, 1242, and a couple of UT lumps if youve really got cash to speand go for the second two will fit.

The 1108 is a better base to work on if you want to do this kind of conversion

Do a search :) It has been covered plenty of times before ;) For a 899, you're gonna have to change more than the engine - probably better off getting a Sporting :)

correcto!

as you have the 900cc like my sei i thought about going for a 1242 lump but then thought its gonna be as much work to get that in as it is with a Uno turbo lump.

so i got my monies out and went for the 1.3 turbo option :slayer:

at the mo im just doing other things on my car (suspenstion, brakes and ice) but once thats all done i will make a guide of my progress fitting the beast :yum: as no one seems to supply any info on this forum about ut lump fitting (n)

might be happening in about 1-2months time just saving money at the mo incase i come across problems when doing it.

to fit the uno lump you need to cut away all the inner wing, and re fabricate it, thats why no one does it. there is a girl on here with one but she not posted for ages

Who else just read that and thought DTM Wide Arches please!

sounds like a big job then think i will have to save up and a think of what to do thanks fo the info

Think a sensible option that Gaz, but im interested to see this occur :)

Slightly off topic, will a 1242 fit in my sei? ;)

Yes. Even a 16valve can be squeezed in. There's plenty of stuff on one of the forums about this. Plan to transplant a Punto 75 motor myself (if I don't find a cheap Cinq and an Alfa V6 first.........).

lmao! (y) although read daves post :D
