| Cornish Cinque | Bottom pulley removal Hi I`m having hell of a job trying to undo the bottom pulley(cam belt end) I`ve tried everything but it just won`t budge It`s not left hand thread or anything is it? Cheers Adrian

| Wide arch Hormann Turbo | Re: Bottom pulley removal No its normal thread. Try putting the car in 5th gear, get someone to put their foot on the brake, get a big breaker bar and try again.

| Principality Retained :) | Re: Bottom pulley removal I used a wedge of wood across a crank web (sump was off) and a 18" breaker bar with a extension bar (read 3ft scaffolding pipe). Oh and it needs some elbow grease

| __________ | Re: Bottom pulley removal if engine is out i put a gearbox bolt back in, rest a crowbar on that and jam it in the fly wheel, then use breaker bar on other end. its better with 2 people though, 1 to keep fly wheel still, other to undo bolt
