| gear box problem i need help quick plzzzzzzz hi iv got a cinq sporting and it wont go into reverse does eny1 have eny ideas why cus i have no clue cheeres people kev kev

 | The reverse gear inhibitor cable is probably snapped. Take the gaiter off the gearstick and look at the small cable running down the front of the stick.  | Hold the clutch pedal down for 2 seconds, with the car stationary, and then try. If it doesn't work, lift the clutch up and try again. Reverse doesn't like to be rushed ;)

| hi iv checked that i dnt think its that but if u pust it hard and fast towards reverse it somtimes goes into reverse kev

| yeah it hardly ever goes into reverse un less u push it hard and fast then somtimes u will chach it kev

| yay its done i just fiz it it woz as simple as 1 nut bein loose by the gear selector on da gear box it woz loose and just needed to be tightend kev
