best way is to get a bodyshop to weld a panel on and shape to fit it. Dont know on the cost tho!

AFAIK and have found...its not the painting thats the hard part...its the welding!!!. If I can find a red bonnet cheaply (Racing Red 131- Old colour!) i'll consider giving it a crack!!

either you have the metal going over the headlights or recess the headlights or a combination of the two.to be honest if you have to ask then you probably dont have the skills, its a complicated job and i think you'll just have to give it a go as we seem to just use the bodyshop methodB)

Well, I dunno. but Id say get two bits of sheet steel around 2mm thick or the nearest to the same thickness as in the bonnet...

Cut them to the same profile.. Remove the paint around 10mm around the weld site.. clean it with meths and get it totally clean. Weld the new plates in. Prime, Spray and Lacquer as before. Be sure to TCut the area to blend the new in with the old..

Do it with the bonnet off the car...

(Disclaimer - I Hold no responsibility for your actions, my advice is untested)

Best advice is get some metal and use your 'ead a bit:D:D

I really doubt it can be that hard!!

Why not just take the lights out and be done with it, rather than half covering them, or is this old git missing the point?

Oh yes...the Cinq bonnet can be shifted forward (the bolt holes are ovalized) and there is another set of holes (i think). The bonnet will need shifting forward. Didnt think of that one...

Isnt the whole point of a Bad Boy to cover the lights slightly?

The bonnet will need shifting forward to clear the lights or else the badboy bit weill bulge over the lights, looking crap.

I wouldnt attempt a badboy bonnet myself with my bonnet, get one from scrap yard and have a trial run, if you mess it up you can take it to a garage for them to finish off, then all you need to do is get the mounts lined up properly.

Its about £200 to do it, including a bonnet re-spray.
