Rocker cover estimate

How much would you say is a decent price to purchase a rocker cover from a scrapyard. Off to my local tomorrow as Ive found out a Cinq sporting is there and want the rocker cover to get it shot blasted along with the rims I'll be getting. Then I'll polish it up and I'll have it ready to fit when i can get an induction kit.
Cheers,
Gaz

Hmmmm.... a few quid is good. The folks around here are inbred anyway so it shouldn't be too hard to persuade them!

Re: Rocker cover estimate

Oh yeah before I polish it, is it worth getting a new gasket as I am getting oil coming out from it and it will make a mess of the chrome effect won't it? Unless I keep cleaning it maybe?

if your going to remove anyway to fix leak it will make job easier. mine did take altogether about about 3 hours, but did mine in stages. 1 tube of autosol should do it, it did mine as well as coil braket.
