 |  front wheel knocking noise I have another problem that you guys might be able to help with, recently i have been getting a knocking sound coming from the front right wheel, im not stupid, its not the wheel bearing and not the wheel itslef! what happens is when i go over rough ground i get a knocking sound like something is loose, i looked a few times and cant find anything. could this be a suspension problem? the bushes or something? someone help me and tell me what to buy that would be great its annoying the hell out of me. cheers

| this is where i stand  | Re: front wheel knocking noise either worn top mount, or worn ball joint on the suspension arm. both parts are around £30 in parts to replace. the worn ball joint means replacing the whole arm, which is a bit more work than the top mount. you should also replace suspension parts in pairs

 | Re: front wheel knocking noise that will almost definately be the 'tie bar' - rollbar to suspension had same prob and replaced that and now fixed. costs about £20-£30
