Mdf bottom with mdf 6x9 ring on dowels then stretch a tshirt over and fibre glass it so i have no door handles inside all controlled via poppers so that allowed me to cover the whole top part of the door theres pics somewhere on this thread about how i done it

im gonna try get my van working this weekend thats if the pistons havent destroyed every valve or valve destroyed pistons if so ill just have to get a whole new engine never buy a french CAR/VAN

my plans was to start cracking on with my wiring inside as you can see a complete mess once that tidied up was going to make loom to run my megasquirt but now looks like ill have to hold back a bit

considering this was meant to be back on the road at christmas not going to well at the mo, need my van to earn me money and now thats gonna cost me money to fix

sounds good mate

well i towed my van to my mates house today to have a look at the damage, i timed it all up and tried to start engine no joy, so off come the rocker and took cam out as soon as i took cam off a shim bucket on the 3rd cylinder popped up sitting around 1" higher then the other 7, so i taped every shim with a hammer but the one that stuck up the shim popped off and the rod was very high i pulled at it wih my molegrips and the Valve rod come straight out looks like the piston hit the valve and broke the head off, didnt have time to take the head off but starting early morning tomorrow to see if the valve head has gone through the piston or damaged it badly *fingers crossed*

if it has done bad damage then ill have to scrap the van and get my tax refunded itll be £500 down the pan if its just broke the valve and no others are damaged and the piston or barrel arnt fecked then itll be wiser for me to repair i hate diesels lol

Re: My seicento Project

Well that is well F**ked

Wouldn't it be easier to get a cheap engine rather than scrap the van?

Edit or even break it yourself you could probably get a decent amount for the fuel pump alone

edit edit or take the pump off before you scrap it
