Yet Another Custom Build Air Filter

Hello,

I've seen my_cinq_now's post on this forum and my girlfriend liked it soo much that she asked me to build one for her cinq. So here is my build log in case you also want to build one ( or laugh at my errors :p ):

Sneak preview:

A big thanks goes out to my_cinq_now's for the idea and GSR for the original idea [8D]

Greets,
Dennis

Thats quite a nice project! How does the little cinq sounds and drives with the conical on? Has it affected the cars mileage in any way? So many questions... :D

The cinq's perfomance has improved quite a bit. The flat spot at 3k rpm is totally gone, it pulls hard from 2000 to 6500.

I don't know about the fuel consumption but it seems not too bad. I figure if you request the same power from the engine as it could provide without the air intake the consumption remains the same. But hey why do you want to do that....

WROROOOOOOOOOOOOOOM :D

No problem, hope your girlfriend enjoys the newfound power and noise.

Tony

PS drive along in 2nd gear, slow down so the revs drop to 2000 rpm then floor it!! Sounds great :D
