| Clubcento Member | Non-standard wheels & tyres, required tyre pressures? Hi, I want to make sure the cars tyre pressures are correct. I know the standard 13" 165/60 profile tyres wanted 2.1Bar of pressure. Would it be the same for 14" wheels using 185/50 profile rubber?

| RIP L181 VBB | Re: Non-standard wheels & tyres, required tyre pressures? 14'' is 30-32 PSI rather then the BAR figure, I dont use that figure. I tend to go for 32 PSI but others have had their pressures at 30 PSI Think 13'' are slightly less IIRC, although if doing motorway driving its best to put more in HTH

| mad bad and very very old | Re: Non-standard wheels & tyres, required tyre pressures? Unless you use a Masta guage or something similar, then 30 PSi and 32 PSi are possibly the same thing. Then remember that pressure is dependant on temperature, so unless you check the pressure everytime it rains then your pressures are never going to be very accurate. If the car is not wearing the tyres unevenly and the car is performing and handling OK, then 30 or 32 is about right. Cheers D
