Well another headlight has once again gone on my cinq, so purchased a new one from Fiat (had a very good discounted price!) So here goes...its a manual adjusting headlight, so the white adjuster at the top of the light came dismounted, so obviously its meant to be put in...but it won't actually go in...if that makes sense?!

So the question is..can anyone please help?

Take it back and get them to advise whether its the correct one or not.

also, do you want a manual adjustor - or an electric one? i have a spare electric one.

not sure about manual ones, but to install the electric ones you just gently push it into place making sure the lil white clips hug the ball joint and then twist it so it locks into place

I have the manual setup on my car, but thanks anyway for the offer. I can see the ball-joint on the adjuster (the part ready to be pushed into the headlight) but the white clips are not central to the hole inside the headlight, but more to the right of it...I thought it might of been a part which has to be removed before pressing the adjuster into the light...or is it just a case of realigning this white plastic part?

they should be kinda central, but they do move around with the reflector. take it back to fiat and ask them to fit it - them white clips are easy to break. if they break them, they can give you a new headlight
