I have bitten the bullet and started to write and compile the above for the benefit of Clubcento members.
I have already spent a few late nights, lunchbreaks etc putting down in writing the tales of 5 years and many thousands of pounds of experience gained from turning a perfectly good city car into a nitrous fuelled track monster...

What I need is feedback on the mods you have done to your pride and joy, what worked and what was a waste of time and money.
I am still developing the structure of the guide but it will probably be divided into chapters for different aspects (e.g. engine, suspension, brakes ...) and probably include a recommended order/stage of combined mods.
I do not however intend going into great depths on 'max power' style mods and bodywork/styling - mainly because I have little interest in such things and often this style of modification can actually make the car slower/ handle worse! That is why the titel is 'Performance Tuning...'
I will however have an 'other bits' section including things like seats, steering wheels etc.

It MAY also include (as an appendix) a spreadsheet with all the bits I can find that are (or were) made, details, part numbers, prices and suppliers. You can imagine the time this may take and I already regret starting this part!!
So the more detail you give me the better YOUR guide will be.

It is the sort of think that will need updating, probably annually to keep it relevant and useful.

Some of you may remember Tony Ward writing an guide four years ago - much of what was written is still valid so I will be using it as source material (with his approval I might add).

I can envisage the finished product being on the website and maybe printed for the membership, the latter may carry have a nominal charge to cover printing costs - we will have to see.

Wish me luck! The target is to have something out (probably sans appendix) in late February/early March, ready for next season proper!

cheers in anticipation of your input - amd remember I am always contactable for specific questions or to just have a chat.
