I'm sure Arc said 'friendly'. Try an independant rather than Kwik Fit.

Cheers

you need a backstreet garage with a nice 70 year old guy who used to be the most ragin boy racer you ever knew. He'll then stand there talking to you for hours while 2 of his younger employees (65 and 63 years old) do the work.

He will talk to you about the classic old cars and how he then went into racing professionally for a bit - the crashed, got married and had kids. by the time he's told you all that the two other guys (called morris and clen) have fitted your exhaust and given your car a spit polish.

When it comes to the bill.... "just buy us a few pints lad, nice car you got there, look after it."

Re: exhaust

!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would take it to the nearest private garage, as they should be able to do it easily. Plus it'll be a better job than kwik fit do. There's a reason they're called kwik fit, "more haste less speed" anyone?

We use bush tyres, and a mate of ours swears buy a little garage a village or two away.
