Hi guys,

Im new to this forum, recently bought a seciento sporting and today tried to wire in an amp and sub. Ive done it before so i thought everything was going smoothly until i tested the stereo to see if the sub would kick in and it didnt. I then tried turning the engine on but it wont start. Anyone got any ideas, do you think its the power lead connectd to the battery?!

the stereo was on for about 3 mins just to test if the sub would kick in but it didnt. sorry whats tickin over?

when i turn the key lights come on and within a second they all go out and the engine doesnt start

thanks...will have to check tomorrow morning to see. also im not getting any power to my amp so i guess the remote lead to my headunit isnt connected properly. is this likely to be the case do you reckon. all i did was find a blue lead from the adapter at the back of the headunit and tried conneting it to that

Interior light run down battery!?Try jumpstarting/recharge battery.

hey got my engine running again it needed jumpstarting so i must have run the battery down. Still cant get my amp power light to turn on. I have a feeling that its got something to do with the remote blue lead going to my headunit. Anyone know how where this is supposed to connect to. Thanks

i earthed to a bolt not painted over or anything seems to be fine. sorry im new to all this so not sure where you are asking me to temporalily wire up to on the iso loom

Just tried it but no the light still didnt come on  checked thye grounding to and that seemed to be ok

hey guys thanks for your help. i got a multimeter and checked connections etc and process of elimination showed me that it was a blown fuse so everything works now however i didnt charge my battery for long enough so testing the sub has made it go flat again (n) so will have to jump start it tomorrow, charge it up a bit. would you recommend uprating the battery at all
