Hello!

just to inform everyone. Be aware of the seller : trublu1878

He is selling the Technical assistance Manual on eBay advertised as genuine. The picture in his auction is the genuine CD.

What I received today is a cheap copy on an imation cd-r with a nicely printed cover :bang: (n)

AVOID:mad:

Yes it is but copys are selling for £5.

This guy advertises his as genuine & puts a genuine picture on there.

£10.

To have a original one I was willing to pay the extra £££££

He does do a good jop copying it not everyone might notice it's a copy.

i'm an IT engineer so he tried to fool the wrong guy. + I already downloaded the manual, I just wanted the real CD.

I have access to various FTP servers from work. EDIT: This is because I work for a motor Trade company

I do not support piracy & will not fund these pri**s

His auctions do indeed state they are the real thing:

LOOK AT THE PICTURE - THE DISK YOU SEE IS THE DISK YOU GET ! OTHER SELLERS SEND YOU NASTY COPIES WITH THE NAME WRITTEN ON IN FELT PEN OR CHEAP INKJET PRINTED CD`S OR WORSE SEND YOU A DISK WITH A DODGY STICKY LABEL ON THAT WILL DAMAGE YOUR CD`S LASER - WHY NOT EMAIL THEM BEFORE YOU BUY AND ASK WHAT SORT OF DISK YOU ARE GOING TO GET

2 Problems:

1. The CD on the picture is indeed the original one. (I had this confirmed at work) The CD I received is a poor copy.

so whats with LOOK AT THE PICTURE - THE DISK YOU SEE ISTHE DISK YOUGET !

2. It's still illegal to sell pirated copys.

lol

the original like in the picture is pressed
no CDr markings/surfaces

the fake one:

Printed on Top surface
cd-r markings all over the place

Buy one to see for yourself :D :slayer:

Have a close look at the picture on ebay...

From what I see, it is printed on a CD-R, the lines you write on manually are visible (or the CD case is poor/Fiat chose a very unusual design to the label).

Some of them do like this. Some, however, do look a lot more convincing..............

Also the word genuine is never mentioned in any of the auctions.

Having looked at his auctions I fail to see a problem. The guy describes it accurately and his pitch is good. He's getting away with charging £10.00 or so including P+P when other sellers are selling basically the same thing for a few pounds. You fell for his pitch hook line and sinker. Is this why you're pissed? You got what he said he would send you, you should be leaving postive feedback...
