I know people have posted about this before, but I've read the threads and knowing posted how they fixed it!! so here we go!

It ticks over fine, but if you rev it and let it drop it drops to quick and almost stalls. On the move it sometimes stalls when you take your foot off the accelerator and put the clutch in, usually when changing gear before a corner.

I'm not sure quite what could be the problem, my thoughts are,

Lambda,
Throttle position sensor,
Injector,
crank tdc sensor.

The map sensor is fine, the revs rise when you blow down the tube, and the pipe is clear.

Any ideas?

it's fine when running along at full chat, but if you let the throttle off and put the clutch in the revs drop and it stalls. Haven't touched the tb since i swapped it in july. it was working fine up till monday-ish.

Ok We've had the tb off, and replaced the rocker gasket (was seeping oil anyway,) then checked and rechecked all connections and that it is all tight!
Also checked the map sensor, the revs rise when you blow down it so i assume that means it works!!!
So, once it's bedded itself in a little we'll see if it's still doing it.
If it is the lambda, can i fit a universal one, and how much are they?

ok can we use a universal lambda?

Forget the Lambda, if there was a problem there, it should also affect rest of the performance and fuel consumption. Definately a pipe, with a very tiny hole, or a slightly loose connection, due to TB exchange.

I faced this problem after installing my 38mm TB, but the fault was mine, as i didn't care to change the gaskets and kept the old ones. The lambda was less than two months old at this time.

Solved it after i changed all gaskets and pipes connecting at the TB (to the MAP, blow-off turbo valve, EFI controller and boost gauge).

Start with gasket and pipes, it's really less than 10 euros for all. Let the Lambda for later.

spotted this today on a car site i was browsing. would this work or is it utter cr4p?

quote
" Hi what u need to try is resetting the ECU. You have do this in this order:

1) Start the engine and warm it up till the cooling fan has come on, gone off and come on again. If the engine cuts out restart it! (The cooling fan operates around 90 centridge.)

2) Once the fan has come on for the second time turn the engine off and disconnect the Negitive cable of the battery (furthest away from front of vechicle) and leave it disconnected for 45secs. (it will be easier to take the cable off beforhand so it will be loose.)

3) Once the 45secs is up replace the cable and start the engine giving it a heavy rev as it will struggle to start as it has now forgotten how to idle and start. After a few seconds it will learn how idle. Leave it running for 2mins. Then i suggest you take it out down some kind of duel carridgeway or for a 10min drive!

4) Fill petrol tank up with fuel and add some petrol additive to clean the fuel system. This should then in effect either clean the injector or show there is somekind of fuel system failure.
has this been done on here?

I did, "Stalling sei" only 2 replies and still not fixed, any more suggestions or has anyone else had this same issue.
