I am getting this key code symbol lighting on my dashboard from time to time but recently it is doing it everyday. Would like to enquire how to tackle this problem. Should a mechanic see to it ?

My car is a Fiat Seicento Sporting of year 2000.

Hi, the code comes on after a few minutes of driving and remains on until I park and switch off the engine.
