Hi all

I have a 2002 Schumacher Sporting with a standard 8v mpi engine and I need a little advice please

As some may have read in a previous post, my alternator belt shredded and knocked the timing out

Upon inspection, it turns out that the alternator pulley is slightly bent! Where is best to get one? I believe that it is a single unit with the crank pulley too and has a ribbed belt

Also, I am not located with the car right now but want to order a timing belt kit but there are 2 different ones. Any idea which one I want? Or what the difference is with the one with more teeth? Ie. If it drives more than the crank, cam and water pump

Alternator pulley is not attached to the crank.

Use the VIN in Eper and it will tell you the correct kit, will also give you the alternator pulley part number....
