General Spark Plug Spanner for Seicento 1108cc

I am just starting to do my own servicing on my Seicento 2002 1108cc. Will someone please tell me the size of spark plug spanner that I need to buy? The Haynes manual doesn't say, and on the internet (this site included) I am getting different information: 5/8", 10mm, 16mm. So, what is the correct size spanner to buy please? Or is the variation due to the actual type of plug? For example, the Haynes manual says to use a Champion RC9YCC, and this, I understand, is a 16mm.

Hi,
5/16" and 16mm are basically the same size, so that rules one out.
I don't have a Sei, but all info points to16mm. 10mm is pretty rare in cars.

Can't comment on champion plugs, i always use NGK plugs which for these engines you want BCPR6ES or if you feeling flush you can splash out on BCPR6EIX which are the iridium version.
