Hi all
Just a couple of newbie questions about my new purchase.
Does the sx model have a cambelt? If so what are the mileage and yearly intervals for changing please?
This one is also fitted with central locking. When I open the doors using the key it's fine but when I get out and just shut the drivers door with my hand the doors all lock themselves! I don't even have to use the key.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Many thanks

The SX uses the standard OHV of 899cc.....the engine has a chain for camshaft .......turning.
I can't say I know anything about the central locking problem......

Thanks very much Ian I wasn't sure if it was a chain. Thank you.

The actuator in the drivers door is loose/badly adjusted.

Door panel off and have a poke around.

My sx also has similar central looking gremlins it opens and locks when key is put in drivers side door but operayes perfect on the passenger's side it does not bother me to much tbh a just put it down to it being 19yr old
