Hi all.

I have an issue since replacing my rear arms and restoring my rear cross-member that the car is sitting lower on the rear offside.
Have I done the rear trailing arm bolts up too tight when putting the springs in unloaded on the ramp?
Would loosening them off completely and jumping in the boot then tightening them under load over a pit be the best thing to do?

Yes, always tighten these bolts with load on the wheels , if not suspension bushes will wear out very quickly.
If you have a pit yes If not ramps will do.
Try and get the weight of car close to what it will be in use as you can , spare wheel in , half tank fuel etc

After doing the above , You may find the ride height side to side is not exactly the same.
To some extent that's normal.

hi there if you slacken off the bolts and do like you said by jumping up and down and then put load on it then tighten up the bolts, this should sort out your problem
