Get a CSC manifold...problem solved. It's got a flange in the middle and you can fit a spacer if you stick it on a 1242.

I was thinking of eventually changing over to the 1242 anyway. It looks beautiful! Does it matter which 1242 bottom end I use? For example obviously the cinq is a spi, would my head and gearbox fit on a newer punto 1.2 8v mpi?

Doesn't matter as long it's not grande punto style bottom end there abit of a different Ball game

But my old build was abit of everything

1242 mk2 punto bottom end
Mk1 punto p75 mpi head
And a Sei abarth gearbox

Awesome. I can't wait to get on with it. Currently running it around tatty. Getting a bike on the road and the cinq off to get it amazing

My first attempt to get more power from an 1108 was to fit a complete P75 head with Mpi and it's 866 cam to a 1108 bottom end, I ported the head myself and had it skimmed (don't know how much came off) and the compression pressure was 220-225psi.
I also used a stainless 4-2-1 Supersprint copy exhaust manifold and a 50mm home made system with a Mk2 Escort rally car rear silencer, this setup made 76bhp when setup on the dyno.
