As we all know, the cinqs brakes a bit trousers.

Is it worth upgrading the discs to something like the Black Diamond Combi Brake Disks from fastfiat.com or is should i just get some new pads.

If i'm just getting new pads, what should i look for. If i'm getting the discs too, do i have to match the pads to the discs (ie buy the Black Diamond Predator Pads?)

Also, the rear brakes.. they need attention too. is it worth replacing the drums with better ones (can u get better drum brakes? lol).

any advice would be great, thanks

Mark

Cinq Sporting - and yes, its broom yellow!

You can do the drilled, grooved or combi discs - yes. What these do is help vent gas from the pad face as you're braking, and help stop brake fade. Don't think it's worth going for drilled and grooved discs, as you will take away a considerable amount of the disc area - I'd stick to Brembo Max (£50 a pair) or Red Dot 6 groovers for an uprate. Pads are your choice, I haven't tried Greenstuff or Red Dot, so couldn't really advise on these.

Thing is, I'm a tight arse and like my cheapo options!:D
