i have a 96' cinq sporting and it makes a noise (tapping) which appears to come from the RHS of the engine bay, around the brake servo. when in the car if u put ur head in the passenger footwell it seems to come from under the dashboard behind the radio. it also gets quicker when the revs are increased. it doent happen when the car is being driven. is this just normal engine noise or....? please help.[!]

Could be the speedo cale touching the brake pipes on the bulkhead, seen this before...

The injector can tick on our cars, nothing really to worry about. More noticeable if you have an induction kit on. Tappets can too, especially if they are overdue a clearance adjustment.
